     The teacher’s union worked hard for their school board candidates in the spring of 1999. The teacher’s labor contract with the school district was up for renewal in the spring of 2000. One of the candidates that the teacher’s union supported then mysteriously appeared as the S-VE school district representative in the salary negotiations with the teacher’s union.    Putting a politician in a position where she can reward her campaign workers and supporters with public money has always been considered ethically unacceptable. It gives the opportunity of a payback.
